Description
This wool is 100% HOGG WOOL (first clip still contains some lambs wool, longer staple). It is a mixture from our White Heatherlea North Country Cheviot Hoggs and our Heatherlea Black North Country Cheviot Hoggs.
The sheep are born, bred and raised here. The sheep are shorn by my husband on the croft and the wool handling is done by myself. The wool then gets sent off to the Natural Fibre Company where they spin it for me.
This is like a cloud and the squeeze is unreal.

I have used all of the 3DK natural colours in my knitting. They are all lovely to knit with. As they are natural wool, the knitted products hold their shape well. Great for hats. Each ball has enough wool for at least two hats. I really enjoy knitting with this wool which is far softer than I was expecting from the cheviot breed.
